One of the best James Bond movies of all time, Skyfall is an action-packed thriller. The latest installment in the blockbuster franchise chronicles Bond's (Daniel Craig) return to London after a stint of living on the edge. This movie is full of great action scenes and unforgettable quotes. The cinematography will leave you stunned at times, with its long shots of gorgeous scenery contrasted with gripping scenes that take place behind closed doors. It's one of the most ambitious Bond movies ever made because it features several different locations around the world. These beautiful places are used creatively throughout the film, giving us a sense of place that you don't get in other Bond movies. There are several worthy actors in this movie. Judi Dench, Albert Finney and Javier Bardem all deliver great performances as M (Dench), Q (Bardem) and Silva (Finney). The villains in this movie are also very memorable, with Silva and Raoul Silva (Bardem) being portrayed as colorful characters that you can't help but like during their evil schemes. Although the romance in this film is lackluster, it's worth watching for the action sequences. The opening scene, which takes place in Shanghai, China, is one of the most iconic of the movie. The fast-paced action that unfolds on screen immediately draws you into this movie. The scene then switches to London where Bond suits up and gets ready for his next assignment. The plot of Skyfall is very confusing at times. There are several different locations with several different characters that lead to a ton of confusion about what exactly is going on. It's not easy to follow unless you pay close attention or watch it multiple times because there are so many twists and turns. Still, even if you don't follow the storyline, this movie is still worth watching. Also, if you're a huge Bond fan like I am, there are plenty of moments where you're going to rewind and watch it again just for the sheer amount of action that takes place on screen. Skyfall also has one of the most memorable opening sequences in the entire Bond franchise. The action in this sequence is breathtaking and will make you want to stay through the credits so you can see what happens next. The soundtrack is also rockin'. Craig's voice is not as recognizable as Daniel Craig and he sounds slightly different than he does in Casino Royale (2006). Nonetheless, his voice works well with the dramatic scenes in this movie. The action scenes sound very similar to those in Casino Royale and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Skyfall is a great movie to watch and one of the best Bond movies of all time. I highly recommend it if you love an action-packed thrill ride. Skyfall is the eighteenth spy film in the James Bond series . It was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and directed by Sam Mendes . It was released on October 23, 2012. ... cfa1e77820
